If the test of a good suit is it feels so natural you don’t want to take it off, this suit passes with distinction! Tatyana listened carefully to my brief, and offered some great advice through the process of settling on a design, and the right fabric. Everything ran to our agreed timetable; the fittings allowed Tatyana to make some small but important changes that really made the suit fit me well, and as I say, when I collected it, I didn’t want to take it off, even on one of those too hot heatwave days of summer 2026!read more

Purpose:
Wedding suit and shirt. Nehru collar.
Tailor:
The founder Tatyana is fantastic, industrious, and shows genuine enthusiasm for garments. She has lifelong experience making clothes. She is industrious, listens intently to customer opinions/feedback/preferences, while also giving straightforward guidance. Communication in between appointments is easy (via Whatsapp for example) and Tatyana is very responsive. I am fully supportive of her in the male-dominated market of men’s tailoring.
Style/choices:
The house style is between British (roomy) and Italian (slim) tailoring. The Nehru collar style stands out, but evening wear, single and double breasted styles are available. Customisations are available once settled on a basic design. There’s plenty to choose from anyhow. Quality fabrics are sourced via Holland & Sherry—she knows the fabrics well (especially given the relatively new address) and has a good eye for them.
Lead time:
Allow a month (at least) between taking measurements and a first fitting. Alterations took a week. Tatyana will tell you up front if she cannot meet your schedule, but will make a serious effort to do so as she did with me.

Conclusion:
A superbly well-fitted suit. There founder is one to watch and work with. I will be a repeat customer and my intent is to have a long term business relationship with Tatyana.

Tatyana did an amazing job with my wedding suit!
She was very patient with me as I formulated my design, and was a great listener and helped me develop my ideas.
When it came to the fitting, she was again very attentive to detail with adjustments. She honored my slightly unorthodox requests in a way that came out looking, in my opinion, 10/10 perfect.
The price was also reasonable, especially given the amount of attention I received and the high quality of the service.

I wanted to wear a mandarin collar suit for my wedding and was lucky enough to find Artefact London. Tatyana was welcoming and professional, and walked me through the whole process, picking the fabrics, buttons, lining etc. She’s clearly a pro and knew exactly what she was doing, and made the experience super easy and stress-free. She was also very attentive to my timeline and made sure the suit was ready well in time for my wedding day. It was all very straightforward, and the suit was ready after just one round of adjustments. And WOW did it feel amazing to wear... everyone said how great it looked on me! I’d definitely go back to her for my next suit 😁

I had a wonderful experience at Artefact getting a tuxedo made for my wedding. I knew I wanted something special, but as someone who doesn't know much about suits I didn't quite know where to start. Tatyana was incredibly helpful from the first consultation, guiding me through the process of designing the look and giving detailed recommendations on what would suit me (and the occasion) best. The sessions to adjust the fit were relaxed but efficient, and the suit was produced quickly.
