How to Wear Your Morning Suit

Correct morning coat length ends just behind the knees.

Pair with a crisp white shirt with French cuffs for added elegance.

Ensure your trousers are cut proportionate to your body and the length of the cuff is touching the shoe without creating too much creasing

Add subtle splash of colour with a cravat or a tie. Don't go overboard with colour. Subtle paisley, polka dot or texture will complement the look. Choose silk.

Coordinate accessories, don't match them. Don't match your tie to the pocket square. Choose complementing colour schemes. For example green/yellow paisley tie with a plain green pocket square.

Top hats are optional

Polished black or dark brown leather shoes (oxfords or brogues) are a must. Don't wear suede shoes.

Caring for Your Morning Suit

- Dry Clean: Only when needed to avoid fabric damage.
- Storage: Use a breathable garment bag and sturdy hanger with broad shoulders to maintain the shape of the coat.
- Wrinkle Removal: Steam gently instead of ironing to avoid scorching.
- Spot Cleaning: Blot stains gently with mild detergent.
- Regular Tailoring: Keep the suit’s fit updated in line with your body weight fluctuations to ensure a polished appearance.
